What to Expect Before Your Session

It is important to come to your session well hydrated. We are infusing concentrated vitamins and minerals to provide the best support and treatment for your condition. It is also recommended that you eat a good meal and drink 64oz of water prior to your infusion. If you are dehydrated, please inform the nurse, so she can give you IV hydration prior to your infusion. Please note, if you are deemed dehydrated during the nursing assessment and your IV hydration is administered, you will be charged an additional charge for the IV fluids.

What to Expect After Your Session

Please keep yourself hydrated after your IV infusion. Most people feel a surge of energy after their IV treatments. However, a few patients feel uncomfortable after their session and can experience symptoms of headache, diarrhea or constipation, sinus congestion, flu-like symptoms, cramping and body aches. Most of these symptoms are a reaction to detoxification.

After an IV therapy, it is a good idea to: Avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours to allow your liver to recover from the toxins being released into your blood stream. Drink plenty of water to help your system flush out toxins. If you have diarrhea, let the body naturally discharge and avoid taking antidiarrheal medications like Imodium or Pepto Bismol. If you have constipation, magnesium citrate 600-800 mg can promote bowel movements. Colonics can also be supportive. Enjoy warm miso soup or bone broth the day of your therapy to support hydration.
